This Matilda the Musical is the story about Matilda Wormwood. Matilda's parents have no interest in their daughter and regard her as nothing but a nuisance. Matilda spends a great deal of time on her own, reading books from the library, whilst her parents watch TV and her father sells used cars on the side. Matilda is bright but rebellious at school, even though she has to bear the monstrous Head Teacher, Miss Trunchbull. Matilda’s experience of these disregarding adults leads her to decide that it’s time to get her own back and teach grown-ups a lesson.
