And the ending is.....Don’t worry, we won’t tell! Mousetrap the play is officially the world’s longest-running stage production, but it keeps all its freshness and appeal with regular changes in cast. It could have begun life as a Mousetrap musical at the behest of Queen Mary who wanted “an Agatha Christie” for her 80th birthday. What started as a BBC radio 30-minute thriller called Three Blind Mice evolved into the Mousetrap play loved by so many millions of theatre goers.

The setting for the greatest of all “whodunits” is the Great Hall of Monkswell Manor in deepest Berkshire, where guests will soon fall under suspicion of guilt and the threat of sudden death. The Mousetrap show certainly cracks along at a pace. Before the curtain even rises a there’s a shot, a scream and a murder as the killer seeks fresh victims at the Manor.

Mousetrap tickets will recapture all the delights of a beautifully preserved and well performed classic country house murder mystery. You may find it easy to spot the murderer, but that’s half the fun of the show. Time travel is possible with tickets the Mousetrap taking you back to the theatregoing of 1930’s. Simply an entertaining evening out. 1
