We Will Rock You the musical has a script by Ben Elton and music and lyrics by Queen. With great hits like “Bohemian Rhapsody”, “Radio GaGa”, and “I Want To Break Free”, We Will Rock You London is a show that uses the great anthems of quite possibly the best stadium band ever to brilliant effect. Any Freddie Mercury fan would give their right arm for We Will Rock You tickets.

Some critics have carped that this We Will Rock You theatre event has a plot that’s pretty sparse, but it does enough to carry the evening along with pace and panache. Anyway, we suspect that most people will be happy with We Will Rock You London tickets just for the music alone. That’s blasted out with conviction by a very talented, able cast in this London We Will Rock You production.

The story is set in a time when musical instruments have been banned and kids can’t make their own. Instead they are subjected to mindless pap from virtual boy and girl bands. The rebel Bohemians await the “Dreamer” who will find instruments hidden away by Queen in a rock time capsule. Ok, the We Will Rock You theater plot premise won’t win many literary awards. Who cares, when a We Will Rock You ticket promises some of the best Queen numbers ever?

I am a fan of the band Queen, so present, it was a great event for me. Every minute was astounding. Ben Elton has done a good job. Despite the fact that we were sitting on the balcony, you could see everything perfectly, but I would recommend the place closer to the stage, because the impression there must be even greater. Of course, most loved music, but the actors, the dance was just as good. I recommend not only for Queen fans, but for everyone. (Posted on 12/11/2012)
